Attachments?
Attachments, in general
sense, refer to emotional or psychological bonds and associations that we form
with people, things, experiences, perceptions, or goals. Very often, these
connections are meaningful and have a significant impact on our thinking,
feelings, and actions.
Attachments can be weak or
strong, positive or challenging, and also play an important role in shaping our
relationships, emotions, and self-growth.
In simple words, we might
say that attachments provide us with a sense of belonging, make us feel safe,
and give us a sense of purpose. They influence our decision-making power. It’s
good to have attachments, but being more adaptable to changes can be more
beneficial.
Additionally, being overly attached to things or people can harm relationships, lead to distress, and prevent personal growth. Is’nt that true?
