Actually, Every day, we're all in the business of reading the minds of those who around us. We do it all the time because we want to figure others out. So, based on our assumptive ideas and understanding of human nature, we continuously make predictions about what others think, behave, want, and feel. We do so because if we can figure out other people's motives and intentions, the likelihood of them blaming or harming us lessens. And this will save us a lot of unneeded agony and suffering. We also make assumptions about what they will do in the future and how they will react if we reply in this or that way. We make guesses based on our predictions. We make guesses based on our assumptions about the person's inner nature and how it organises his or her duties and demeanour.
