A day out

For a long time, I had planned to go out with some of my colleagues. I was getting tired of doing the same task every day. I needed a change. So, I told them to accompany me. I told them to come twice. But when I saw them busy, I stopped saying anything to them.

One day, Tanu and Vivek came to me and said that they were ready to go out. It was  a pre-decided plan, and the place was the residence house of the late Shri Jawaharlal Nehru, which we know as “Nehru Platinium." Before going to this place, they developed some curiosity as a result of my brief explanation of it to them.

Since my childhood, this was the second time I got a chance to go. I didn’t want to lose it at any cost. We were so excited and planned to meet at the nearest metro station. Hardly, it took 15-20 minutes to walk from the metro station.

We made fun of each other along the way in such a manner that we forgot when we arrived at our destination. We reached the entrance, and they inquired about an ID card. And we showed it to the gatekeeper. As we entered, we asked for the show time and stood up for tickets in line. After 2-3 minutes, I found that there was a long queue behind us.

One of us took tickets, and we entered the place. For some time, we roamed around the place and saw some of the photographs that were displayed there. I also clicked some photographs there.

This time, there was again a queue for entering the sky theater with 3-D glasses. We did the same and took our seats together.

The time came when the show was about to start. As it started, we felt so thrilling, as though we were moving towards the sky. One of my colleagues, Vivek, seemed frightened; he held the hand of her colleague, who sat next to him. On the other side, for the first time, I felt youthful and eager.

It was a story of the universe and the planets that roam around it. It was a sparkling sky of stars, which I used to see every night. But this time, I was so close to feeling what was going on before me. It seemed so fascinating, and I felt like I was in between the elements of the universe. There were different colors rolling around us. As it was a 3-D show, it seemed like we were moving around them. In between all of this, some kids chased them too. There was a different story about each planet. We saw how we retrieve information and displays from the universe. All were displayed in an exciting and unique way. Around every planet, there were moving circles, and they seemed quite different. We also saw some of the robots, which helped us send photos of the universe and its surroundings. It was about how our planet's environment is made.

At the end of the show, they kept a 3-D animation display, which seemed like we were actually doing scuba diving. There were different creatures around us; some of them seemed to be moving towards us and attacking usAmong all the water creatures, it appeared so attractive. I had never seen such a stunning underwater view, and I was completely in awe of it for the first time.

It was a show of about 35–40 minutes, which seemed like not enough. Now we’ve moved to the next place. Everything was in motion and organized.

During this journey, I felt so connected with my people and the moments that we enjoyed together in such a way that I found myself lost in them. I had no idea of doing anything, but my people reminded me to capture some of the moments on my camera so that they could be with me forever. I’ve never had such a pleasant day to go exploring.
