Unleash Your Imagination: Celebrate Creativity Day

Many of us misunderstand the term creativity. You might ask, how? It is because we often believe that creativity is only for the artists or inventors. It’s not for all of us.

Do we question our minds, why they are so? We always believe that creativity lives in the lives of artists, inventors, or people who are in some creative fields or professions. It’s been observed that we always admire creativity in others, often thinking they’re somehow different from us. Or maybe we consider them so unique and special. That’s why we never find Creativity in us.

But the truth is, creativity lives in all of us, deep within.

What does creativity mean?

Creativity is the ability to express your thoughts, words, and feelings in a fresh way that may feel familiar in many ways. When we recognize our ideas and express them differently, isn’t that a part of creative world?

When we try something new, isn’t that creativity too? I believe when we look around, we truly find creativity within ourselves.

It’s about how open we are to new possibilities — and how we embrace them to turn into something meaningful and valuable.

Why don’t we find creativity within?

We often take creativity as a gift, but in reality, it’s a skill. That can be developed over time. Often, we believe we’re not creative people. We are too blind to see creativity within ourselves.

Do we pause to ask for a while — why we don’t see creativity within ourselves? Maybe we are too occupied with the outer noise that feels like unbearable. You just need to listen to your inner world, even if it feels noisy at first because it shapes your thoughts & the world.

That’s why creativity is not something that you keep inside your mind — it lives in your actions, creation and the way you bring it to life.

“Creativity is something to find within YOURSELF — It’s nothing but listening closely to your inner VOICE”

Why creativity matters?

More often, we believe that Creativity is just confined to poetry, writing, or painting. But it is more than our imagination. It’s a doorway to keep us alive — that gives a reason to survive.

When we decide to try something new — whether it’s an idea or thinking. We think a lot. Questions arises within our minds. Feels like will our idea work or not? Will it make sense? Many thoughts disturb our inner world. But we must understand that creativity is a way of self-expression, not a means to impress others.

Creativity is the root of expression, innovation, resilience. That's how it leads us to growth.

Just remember those days of your childhood — how you’d express yourself without any fear.

Let your inner child come out –and create something wild.

Let your inner voice rise and — make some noise

Let your creativity come and — express your true self.

Practice creativity daily. Create space to think differently.

Creativity is not about perfection — it’s about creating a connection within yourself, with a light heart like a child.
