Think of what you have instead of what you want.

Think of what you have instead of what you want.

How often do we see the things we have because we keep chasing for more? Even when we chase for more, we forget to appreciate what we have. And chasing after more of what we want does not guarantee our happiness. It can make you realize that whether you achieve or not, it’s not really a way to happiness.

But we do well at one thing: complaining about what you do not have. Most of us do complain about our salary, but you can think that you have a job. Think about those good times you have had with your family. It's like when you shift your focus from what you do not have to what you have, feeling grateful—that’s when things start to change.

If you focus on enjoying the people around you rather than waiting for a good time, you end up having more fun. And if you go out, you’ll enjoy it even more. If not, you can still have a good time. Just try to make a list of what you have instead of what you want. When you do, your life might appear you better than before and you might know what it means to you a truly satisfied life.

It’s true that when you are grateful for what you have instead of complaining about it, it’ll probably make you better at it, and who knows what life will bring you.

Always remember: when you acknowledge and appreciate what you have, you make room for the things you are striving for.

I hope you got this. Stay blessed. ❤️
